Kelsey Watkins
Kelsey is a Technical Artist who helps major studios bring their visions to life in Unreal Engine, whether through cinematic rendering, immersive VR ridethroughs, or playable AR scenes that blend live-action footage with 3D animation.
She’s passionate about location-based entertainment and immersive storytelling, with a special focus on using real-time rendering in spaces beyond traditional games, such as museums, galleries, and themed attractions.
In Unreal, Kelsey works daily in Sequencer to choreograph FX timing, animate meshes, tweak material parameters, and design dynamic lighting setups. She’s skilled in creating atmospheric visuals - like hazy light beams with fog - and knows how to replicate them efficiently for VR environments using smart material math. If there’s something she doesn’t already know, she dives in and figures it out.
